𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐍𝐎. 𝟏𝟏 𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐀𝐋𝐋 𝐏𝐈𝐂𝐊! Loyola Baseball alum Kevin Parada ’20 goes No. 11 overall in the 2022 MLB Draft after being selected by the New York Mets! 

The Pasadena native was a unanimous First Team All-American this season at Georgia Tech and took home both the Johnny Bench Award (Top Catcher in NCAA Division I Baseball) and the Buster Posey Award (National Catcher of the Year). 

With his Top 15 selection, Parada officially becomes the highest MLB draft pick in school history. Congrats, Kevin! Your Loyola family is so proud of you!
