As I almost hit the 2 week mark of being home, I have a couple things on my mind 🇨🇦 
.
Medal or no medal, representing your country and becoming an Olympian is elite. Like top 1% of people get to experience it.
.
Cherish those dam memories, sit hard in your swagger and remember how much you sacrificed for those moments in time. I have been anticipating what it will feel like for almost 4 years & now it’s over. 
.
This whole journey was beautiful, it was raw, I tried to make as much public as I could to share this grind with those that want to see it. 
.
Not everyone is going to like my honesty and vulnerability I shared throughout but I learned if you motivate and inspire 1 person your doing the right thing. 
.
One thing I learned through this experience is MANY have an opinion on how we as athletes choose to do things,what we post, and at times judgements on our sacrifices yet they aren’t willing to sacrifice nearly an ounce of what we DO. 
.
TRUST YOU. Remember inner circle is always the only thing that matters in your quest to greatness. Not a DM from a random person, or tweet, or tik tok. 
.
I’m so beyond PROUD of our team, our openness through sh*t hitting the fan, our vulnerability, and ability to communicate.
. 
You don’t get a prepaid visa for life for being an Olympian, but you now have the knowledge to share your experiences and better the younger generations moving forward. Share your gift, with those that can truly benefit. 
.
I’m proud of myself for sticking through it all and not giving up in a Pandemic when it was simply easy to hand in the towel. 
.
We are as strong as we choose to be. If I can leave you with anything it is that life and experiences go by so FAST… we don’t get the same memory 2X in a row, so relish in being where your feet are at. Work your ass off because YOU want it, nobody else 🥎
