It’s been 9 days since I’ve seen my girls ... I’ve been feeling weird emotions being away from them... a little bit more anxious, a little bit more sad, heart hurting, and tears shed this week & it has only been 9 days.

Not sure if it’s been this pandemic and rarely being away from them, or knowing this was a dress rehearsal for what’s to come ... once mid March hits, there is a good chance I cannot come home until after the Olympic Games. 4 1/2 months of being away from HOME, my LIFE & MY PEOPLE.

My family will come and visit, and see me, but it won’t be the same... I’m not sure I’ve dreaded something & looked forward to something so much in MY LIFE.

I know sacrifices MUST be made during a pandemic, and I get it, but it doesn’t mean my heart won’t ache like it never has before. 
•
Being a mother in professional sports IS NOT GLAMOROUS... more tears shed these last 2 years then in my whole life possible.... I owe it to the game to go as hard as I can until this thing is done.... I owe it to my GIRLS to go as hard as I can until this is finished... 
•
The light at the end of the tunnel is near ... 1️⃣5️⃣4️⃣ days to be exact ... These next few months of my life will be challenging for reasons many don’t understand, and that’s ok, but it’s still nice to let people in to see THIS GRIND, and the OBSTACLES ahead .... 🥎 #humbabe
