I sure miss doing THIS! The training, and grinding, and 2-3 bullpens a week, some days solo throwing into a net can wear on the mentality...

BUT the art of competing truly is my FAVOURITE part. The gritting you’re teeth and saying F you let’s go. The moments where you feel pressure but learn it’s better to enjoy it then fear it, the thoughts of doubt while your in the moment where you have to remember how much fuc*ing work you’ve put into this game.

I hope I get a chance at the 2021 Olympics. We’ve worked hard as a squad, and never in my life have I worked and been so committed to the process. BUT if we don’t, I’ll be at peace. I’ll be able to rest my head down and night and say dam I got better these last 3 years and what’s meant to be will be.

My word to the WISE... ALWAYS enjoy the grind. Because you are NEVER guaranteed the end result. Whether it be a medal, scholarship, National Championship.
