I’ve always been a worker... a lover of hard things, someone who enjoys the tough as nails shit rather then the fluff.... the character building things, the stuff that makes you walk around a little taller throughout your day... β€’ β€’ β€’ I often get asked β€œ how are you still training like you are for the Olympics in 2021 with a family, and an unknown if they will even be a go.” β€’ β€’ β€’ My answer is simple. My roadmap doesn’t change because of the unknown. If anything it lights a different kind of spark. Olympics or no Olympics, my grind is real. I’m lucky to have found onepeloton for extra motivation at times, but for the most part, self discipline is my medicine for life. You won’t always have motivation to get shit done. You need to have the self discipline to hold yourself to the higher standard on things... not just working out it could be for anything, how you go about friendships, your job, your loved ones... giving up on YOURSELF reflects how you feel about YOU.
