Be STILL my ♥️... 4 days until my journey with softball.canada begins... 4 days until my life is a little chaotic for the next 7 months... my heart ACHES thinking of being away from these sweet faces for 2 weeks on 2 weeks off until (hopefully) making the team 🇨🇦 roster & going to the 2020 Olympics.... •

I’ve questioned myself throughout this journey multiple times.... I have cried more these last 2.5 years then I did as a newborn baby. I have to continue to stay true to myself and my passions as a wife,mother & athlete...

They won’t remember these moments of me being gone for 2 weeks, or the missed holidays & birthdays... •

BUT what they will remember is their momma being a total bad ass... paving a road for them to honestly believe they can do anything they set their mind 2... fully believing in themselves no matter what... understanding struggle is GOOD... learning that crying is ok, understanding a game face means “ Don’t f*ck with me”, learning to trust their process, to trust your inner circle SO deeply you would go to the end of the earth for them... believing they can always win if they prepare. I will always lead and hope one day these baby birds spread their wings and surpass me in every single way possible. •

My goal for these next 6 months. One foot in front of the other, a big deep breath, and a trust in your process. It will tear at the heart strings but I couldn’t be more ready.  #minorleaguemomof2 #teamcanada #letsgo #hummbabe #camomomma #cantseeme
