I decided to step away from Team Canada after the 2012 season to try other things, playing overseas, NPF league, getting married, and having both my girls. The BOLD decision for me to try and get back into this game started the summer of 2017. I watched Softball Canada play at the Canada cup that summer, and had the biggest itch to get back out there and compete again... I’m so thankful I followed my gut with this decision... β€’ β€’ β€’ As we head into our Olympic qualifier this Sunday, I can’t help but find myself going back to the fall of 2017 where I first started pitching again... it made me thankful for the people in my life who are in my corner and have had my back throughout this whole process ... my husband β™₯️ ... my little girls ( who one day will hopefully understand my reasons for being gone) my family who’s supported me through this especially on more phone calls where I’ve cried then sounded happy, our support system in Seattle ... shandavk for helping with our kiddos, the girls almost second momma when im away thesimplebronze, and one of my besties russellxoxo for making me laugh and just listening to me!
