to my best friend and the light of my life, i cannot express how grateful i am for you. the moment i knew you’d always be in my life was the day you told me that you were coming to my signing when i committed to a college for soccer, even though that didn’t happen because i tore two ligaments in my ankle. the day you said that made me so happy because there was no one else who believed in me and my ability the way you did, the way you do. tell your last ex girlfriend thank you for me, because if it wasn’t for you two breaking up, we would have never gotten as close as we are now. i would never have gotten to listen to you drunkenly talk to me for hours on facetime until 5:15am when i had class at 9am the next day. we wouldn’t have texted all day every day and talked on the phone until 6am for those first few weeks, the weeks that rekindled our friendship and made it grow even stronger. whenever i was feeling homesick at college, you always managed to make me feel better and put a smile on my face every time just by texting or talking to me. every single day i was home from college (before winter break started and you moved to psl) we spent together. there was not a day that I was home during fall break, a random weekend, or thanksgiving break (other than the end of it when you were in psl) that we didn’t spend together, whether it was playing soccer with your family, going to the beach, playing beach soccer, going to fun depot at 10pm, playing FIFA, me driving to your house at 11pm to give you ice cream, or sitting at subway for an hour talking before i had to go back up to school. i am so grateful that you’re in my life, to have a friend i can tell anything to no matter how stupid or embarrassing, and to have a friend who motivates me and believes in me the way you do. i’m also grateful that no matter what time of the day it is, if it’s 12am or 4am, you’ll always be there  for me, to talk to me, give me advice, let me vent, or rescue me from a bad situation. you’re the big brother i always wanted and never had, but now do. i’m holding you to your promise of being in my life forever. love you always tito❤️ #bestfriendappreciationpost
