Here’s an example of a drill used in our Scholastic Prep class (6-8th grades), utilizing our ROXs gaming system. .

This drill forces kids to respond to visual and auditory stimuli and make quick decisions. The variability of the flashing lights forces them to make quick decisions. We used a fixed amount of time for each person to trigger (turn off)  as many lights as possible. This allowed us to set the fitness stimuli but also to drive competitive intent both against themselves and others.
