🖤Today was a good day🖤

Everyday, we show up to do what we love, to serve our community, and to maybe, just maybe do our part to make our part of the world a better place than we left it. 

Last summer, our long-time team member, Zach Holt, shared the passion project of his father’s brewery in TX, BLACK IS BEAUTIFUL by weatheredsoulsbrewing . The worldwide collaboration’s goal is to raise awareness for the injustices people of color face daily. 

Today, on the final weekend of Black History month, we have the honor of donating 100% of the proceeds of our collab beer to naacp.charmeck , with half of the funds benefitting U2U. U2U focuses on bringing Jobs, Justice, Equity, Education, and Opportunities to Charlotte Communities. Dang, if those aren’t all things our underserved neighbors are in dire need of. Many thanks to NAACP CharMeck President, Rev. Corine Mack, for the opportunity to work together. 

While this is one action, there is still so much more to be done to be better friends and neighbors - our work does not end when the month of February ends. Our mission statement’s final sentence is, “At the end of the day, it's beer that we make, but it's our community and the taking care of each other that makes the foundation we're built upon.” 

We have seen in this last year how you all have stepped up for us, for our bartenders, for each other, for your neighbors. We’re so grateful to still be standing and for your support. What a city we live in. Thank you, from the bottom of our hearts.
