Pensacola Beach Firefighters Challenge and DeLuna Open Water Swim rescheduled to October
Pensacola Sports today announced date changes for the following events to contribute to the COVID-19 solution and to adhere to the CDC’s updated guidance.
·Pensacola Beach Firefighters Challenge and the DeLuna Open Water Swim, an event in the SALT Series, will both be moved to October 16-17, 2020
DeLuna Open Water is a new event in the SALT Series, owned and operated by Salty Sports Society, and is the only multi-destination open water swimming series in the State of Florida. Salty Sports Society's mission is to create unique open water swimming event experiences in memorable destinations. For more information, visit www.saltysportssociety.com. saltysportssociety
Registration options for the new dates are available at PensacolaSports.org and will include:
Participate in the October events
-We will automatically transfer your registration to the new event dates on October 16-17. (DeLuna Open Water Swim will be held on October 17).
Defer registration to an event over the next three years.
-We are offering free deferral to the Pensacola Beach Firefighters Challenge and DeLuna Open Water Swim scheduled for 2021, 2022 or 2023.
Donate to Pensacola Sports
-Pensacola Sports, is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization. If you are unable to participate on the new dates, we ask you convert your registration to a donation and receive 25% off a future registration to any Pensacola Sports event in the next year. Your funds will help our mission and other events including free youth tennis and soccer clinics and our Sr. Scholar Banquet, which awards over $100K in scholarships to area high school seniors.
