First off, let me brag on my high school. From the senior class ('01) all the way down to the freshman class ('04) I guarantee you that NO school in Guilford County has had more future collegiate/elite athetes walking it's halls than Page High School had in the 2000-2001 school year! David Rogers Jr and Rusty Lee have been the gatekeepers since then, they can tell you.
Second...shout out to John Robertson, former high school track teammate. John was the SoCon Indoor AND Outdoor Track Freshman of the year at Western Carolina before transferring UP to a full scholarship to run track at Baylor University when they were the best thing smoking. Yes..recruited by the same guy that trained the great Michael Johnson. John and I used to workout together consistently...EVERY DAY going into my freshman year at Temple. He pushed me to be fast enough to play at the next level. So when he asked me to take a selfie with him in my gym last night while watching my groups, I had to oblige for one of my Day 1's.
John is now a cooking instructor/nutritionist. After he worked out, he made split pea soup, purple sweet potatoes, and FRESH trout (DID NOT stink AT ALL!) with a homemade honey mustard sauce(honey, mustard, an acid <lemon juice for example>, and a fat <olive oil for example>).
