Happy 2️⃣4️⃣6️⃣th birthday to the usarmy !

June 14, 2021 marks 246 years of soldiers in the United States Army answering America’s call to serve. 

Thank you to auburnrotc for these interesting facts about today’s Army! 

🪖 There are just over one million soldiers in service, making the Army equal to the 10th largest city in the United States and the second largest employer. 
🪖 Of the presidents who have served in the military, Army service is the most popular amongst them. 
🪖 If we pushed all of the land from the Army’s posts and infrastructure together, it would be larger than Hawaii and Massachusetts. 
🪖 While we produce officers, we recognize that the E-4 mafia is the largest rank with more than a quarter of the Army serving as specialists.
