Welcome to 𝗔𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗯𝘆, a community first settled in the 1400s by the Huron Tribe until sometime in the early 1700s. As described by author Lyman B. Jackes, this land was previously built around a river of fresh spring water, where the modern water tower rears onto Roselawn Avenue, just west of Avenue Road. Tribal huts were also on the site of the present day Allenby Public School. In fact, the neighbourhood as it stands today was developed when Allenby Public School opened in 1927, named after Lord Allenby, a British WWI hero. 🎖

This subdivision runs from Briar Hill Avenue to the north up until Eglinton Avenue West to the south. Allenby is known for its ultra-modern North Toronto Memorial Community Recreation Centre, the Beltline walking trail, and as aforementioned, the renowned Allenby Public School, specifically its French Immersion program.

The median listing price for homes in this area starts at $1,995,000, with a sold price of $2,100,000. This neighbourhood consists of single-family homes, townhouses, and condos, which sell fairly quickly while on the market.
