So excited to finally announce that I have signed to play my next 4 years at Oregon State University. I am so thankful to the OSU coaching staff for taking immediate interest and making my dream of becoming a Beav come true! I also owe a big thank you to my family and coaches that helped me through this crazy transfer process. I am so excited to be staying in the PAC12 conference while repping the orange, black, and white. Stay tuned for this season you won’t be disappointed ;)
However, I owe it all to the big man upstairs. He knew the desires of my heart and knew what I was going through. When he closed the door at Utah, I was unsure of what he was doing in my life and was quite angry. I couldn’t understand why he would let me go through everything that I did. My mental and physical states were at an all time low that I felt like I could never come back from. I had lost myself and even considered hanging up my cleats for good. Everything I worked for at my previous school was gone in the blink of an eye. Little did I know that God had to close that door so he could open up a new one. When I returned home I realized I could no longer try to live this life without him by my side every step of the way. I put my trust in him and held firmly to the verse James 1:2-4. “Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters,whenever you face trials of many kinds,because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything.” In him I found peace, hope, love, and most importantly joy. I owe him everything I have and more. I am so thankful for this opportunity he has placed in front of me and I can’t wait to be in the OSU uniform! GO BEAVS🤍🧡
God is good. All the time.
