Our daytime GED classes are now NO COST to students. For student Elek Davidson, (pictured with GED instructor Teresa Curtis), the personal touch he received from teachers was really important. “If you need the teacher to repeat something just for you, they will. The teachers can go over something with you individually if you need it,” says Elek. “They are generous to take the time to do that, even when the rest of the class has moved on.” Elek passed his GED in July and is now enrolling in business classes at ccdedu. Congratulations Elek! Our GED classes are worth $300 but are being funded with a grant through the Adult Education and Family Literacy Act. The book for the class costs $30 but scholarships are available for those with financial need. And students no longer need to take the TABE test to register for GED classes.
