The angels at socialteesnyc are trying to save as many dogs as they can from high-kill shelters before July 4th (the date which shelters need to make room for strays who run away from fireworks). We reached our initial fundraising goal yesterday and pulled 26 dogs out of a high kill shelter here in Los Angeles, and thanks to your generosity, we've extended our fundraiser and are trying to SAVE MORE includingThis tiny Chihuahua was found stray over two weeks ago with a badly injured hind foot, and he has gone with little medical attention since -- we can't imagine he is not in pain, he's obviously scared, and through it all he is still such a sweet boy who gratefully accepts soft touches. He looks at you with such longing, terrified eyes and barks when you walk close to him -- it was his eyes that first drew us to him from across the room... then we immediately noticed his foot. PLEASE HELP!!! We have got to get this boy out of here NOW, and there are many more lives to save before this rescue mission is over.
