When nycgo asked us to give them a tour of Queens, our first thought was of Corona Plaza. There’s no place in Queens quite like it: A place where you can find vendors from the various states of Mexico, from Oaxaca to Morelos to Tlaxcala and beyond. A place where things are handmade and assembled in front of you. And a place where immigrant women work; we highlighted 6 of them in this video alone.
