It's still #March which means we are still celebrating #womenshistorymonth by sharing quotes from some of our favorite #ustasocal women who have made an impact in 🎾This week we are featuring Maureen Connolly, aka "Little Mo, a hard swinging baseliner." USTA Southern California to read even more 😊  Maureen: Winner of 9 Grand Slam Singles Titles, 2 Doubles Titles, & 1 Mix Doubles Title. 1953, she became the 1st woman to win all 4 Grand Slam tournaments in the same calendar year at age 18. In 1969, she was inducted into the International Hall of Fame & in 1987 she was inducted into the International Women's Sports Hall of Fame. The tournament, "Road to the Little Mo Nationals" is named after her & supported by her foundation. HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE PLAYED "LITTLE MO?!?!?"
