## Caption

The first loss of the Florida Gators' season was a rough one. Florida Atlantic came into the O'Connell Center and led by as many as 14 before squeaking out a 76-74 win.

It was FAU's first ever men's basketball win over Florida and their first over a Power 5 opponent since 2018.

Todd Golden's Gators next take the court Friday at rival Florida State, which has gotten off to an 0-3 start.
