## Caption

Fourth award for the 2019-20 season, THE ROOKIE OF THE YEAR, goes to 1st year guard  Sami Jahan. 

Sami got off to a good start during our pre-season play but a concussion forced him to miss most of league play in the first semester. During second semester he put the RSEQ on notice with his play after stepping into the starting line up due to an MCL injury to All-Star guard Adrian Armstrong. Sami took the opportunity and ran with it as he averaged 13.4 ppg, 5.5 rpg & 3apg while helping us finish second during regular season. He scored a career high 28 points in a comeback overtime win versus McGill in January. 
 
Sami has a bright future in the Stingers uniform and we look forward to seeing him excel in his sophomore season.
