West Papua, Indonesia, situated in the Coral Triangle, is an area recognized as the global center for marine biodiversity and a global priority for conservation. 🐚 Last year, we were able to plant 450,000 mangrove and tropical forest trees in the Biak Island to promote food security and help the local community. 

What types of marine life live in what many refer to as “the Amazon of the Sea”? Let’s take a look! 👀 

🌊 76% of the world’s shallow-water reef-building coral species 
🌊 37% of the world’s reef fish species 
🌊 50% of the world’s razor clam species 
🌊 6 out of 7 of the world’s sea turtle species 
🌊 The largest mangrove forest
