A favorite moment from my tour at Standen House standennt - Larkspur by William Morris. My favorite Morris quote, and there are a lot of good ones, is as follows: “Have nothing in your homes you do not know to be useful or find beautiful.” It’s not a new concept, but a way of living I think many respond to these days.
