## Caption

Strength and rigidity are not the same thing.

Some days I feel really strong physically and mentally. Maybe I had a fierce yoga practice, a great business offer, or a positive interaction with a friend.

In the same week, I can feel discouraged, not good enough, and frustrated. If I step back and assess my feelings, I can often see they are arising because I'm holding on too tightly - trying to control all outcomes.

My yoga practice helps me to remember that the ability to bend and flow without losing your center, whether in your life or in your practice is the key to true strength.
