🚘: extreme low temperatures can create slippery conditions. Take extra care when driving. ⁣⁣

☃️: if you are cold or see someone who needs help, you can call 211 or the DOAP team at 403-998-7388. ⁣⁣

💧: if you see a water main break, water pooling on a roadway, or are suddenly without water, please contact 311. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🐶: if you see a dog or cat at large in extreme cold, please report immediatley to the Calgary Human Society at 403-205-4455 or via the Report Abuse web form. In extreme cases, contact 911 and a joint emergency response can be initiated. ⁣⁣
⁣⁣
🐱: if you found an animal and have it in your possession, you can drop it to a veterinary clinic or call 311 so that it can be safely transferred by a Community Peace Officer for care. ⁣⁣

🏠: keep your home safe by having a working carbon monoxide detector & be cautious if you are using space heaters indoors. Ensure your furnace & exhaust vents are free of snow & ice.⁣
