The redevelopment of the east side of Bowmont Park, recently renamed Dale Hodges Park, opens to the public today. See the transition of the site from a former gravel pit to a world-class park that is not only beautifully designed, but also treats stormwater from neighbouring communities before it enters the Bow River.⁣ 💦🌿

The park is dedicated to Dale Hodges in recognition for his 30 years of service and his active role in protecting and creating Calgary’s green spaces while in office.⁣
