Calgary’s off-leash parks are there to be shared and enjoyed by people and dogs. Off-Leash Ambassadors help promote positive pet interactions by educating dog owners and park users on responsible pet ownership and safety.

New volunteers receive an orientation and training program that includes a review of the Responsible Pet Ownership Bylaw and an animal behaviour and safety session from a certified professional dog trainer.⁣ ⁣⁣
