Here are our top tips for using the services of a taxi, limousine or rideshare vehicle: ⁣
⁣
👍 Verify the identity of the driver and their vehicle before you get in. ⁣
⁣
📝 Before you get into a taxi, take note of the taxi number, company and colour of the vehicle. Knowing this information will help you track down lost items or share a compliment or concern about your ride.⁣
⁣
🚫 Rideshare and limousine drivers are not allowed to pick up customers who hail them on the street. If you are approached by a driver on the street, you should report the incident and the vehicle’s licence plate to 3-1-1. If you feel as though your safety is threatened, call 9-1-1.⁣
⁣
✅ Always be diligent about checking the rideshare information that is provided to you by the app with your booking confirmation, including a photo of the driver, the Alberta licence plate number of the vehicle, and the make and model of the vehicle ⁣
⁣
📱 If you have a complaint or compliment about a taxi, limousine or rideshare driver, call 311 immediately and we will start an investigation. If a crime is in progress, call 9-1-1.⁣
