Come to Confluence Plaza on St. Patrick's Island tonight from 7:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at Calgary Unplugged, a family-friendly Earth Hour event.

This FREE event will feature free hot chocolate, bike-powered music and lights, kids' nature games and an interactive Earth Hour photo booth. Event-goers can bring a light, drum, costume, lantern or decorate their bike and take part in a procession to signal the beginning of Earth Hour.

Calgary's commitment to Earth Hour:
The City of Calgary will join other governments, organizations and citizens around the world in shutting off its lights for Earth Hour on Saturday, March 19 2016 from 8:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. All non-essential lighting will be turned off in the following locations:
The Municipal Building and old City Hall
Calgary Public Building
Manchester Centre Building E
Water Centre
all fire stations
Centre Street Bridge
the 4th Street S.E. underpass
Langevin Bridge
