With the sixth overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, the Detroit Red Wings have selected Simon Edvinsson
———————
Projection: #1 Defenseman
Playing Style: Offensive Defenseman
Comparable: Rasmus Dahlin
———————-
Scouting Report:
Edvinsson is a big, mobile defender who does everything you could want. His reads defensively, and overall play without the puck is very underrated. His skating and puck-moving are the hallmarks of his game though.
