With the second overall pick in the 2021 NHL Draft, the Seattle Kraken have selected Matty Beniers
———————
Projection: First-Line Center
Playing Style: Two-Way Center
Comparable: Jonathan Toews
———————-
Scouting Report:
Beniers is everything you want in a center. He’s a strong skater who makes some great plays. But he’s also a ball of energy who is always all over the puck, and can be relied upon in any defensive situations.
