M on #portra400 in ATX ❤️‍🔥 A Tuesday love note to women…

I talk about this on my story today, but I just really am in awe of women today. I feel like sometimes we’re the only sane ones…(I know this isn’t true and don’t mean to isolate men or nb folx here, and lord knows some women ARE the drama), but I feel like sometimes we’re the only ones asking glaringly obvious questions like:

- why can’t we all agree that killing children in Gaza is wrong?
- why do far right republicans care so much about trans children’s genitals? 
- why are so many men focused on war when the PLANET IS DYING in front of us?! (Mother Earth is Mother for a reason)
- when will we have the freedom to exist safely in our own bodies like the other 1/2 of the population?
- why is @caitlinclark22 getting paid so fking LITTLE???

All of those things sound really depressing and pessimistic and in some ways, kinda ya. But also…I feel like women are absolutely carrying the entire world on their backs. And it’s that thing of - how amazing! And also, it would be nice if we didn’t have to? (I know many Black women have felt this way for generations).

We are carrying and birthing and caring for and having to pay exorbitant medical fees to have babies…all while a few old white men a thousand miles away talk about how they want to control this process in a strangers body even more? How incredibly GENEROUS of us to even birth your children. 

We go run our business and go to the gym and run our errands and as we walk home, tired and yet proud of our day…we’re catcalled at the construction site? How abundantly clear it is that you will never deserve a woman like us. 

How beautiful and exhausting it is to be a woman. 

Anyway, I’m tired, and women fucking rule the world for me today. #WhoRunTheWorldGIRLS #TPPBoudoir
