Outta My Head was written with a bunch of tracks last Nov that really helped me process a ton of things I’d been feeling but did not understand ( i.e my process of self healing.) Since then till now, it’s been a lot of heavy weight and heavy thinking on both my brain and heart - but I can finally say that I’m proud of something I’ve achieved and my god, it’s so liberating to say when you’ve spent a lot of your life dealing with depression and negative emotions. You can say I’ve literally been Marie Kondo-ing my insides and it’s been one hell of a journey.

I’ve hung on to a lot of hurt and anger through my life that without understanding, snowballed and tore through my world. We’ve all been dealt different flavours hardships, and not being able to talk about them only breeds more confusion and frustration. Why is it so hard to talk about the ugly things?? It SHOULD be and HAS to be okay to speak openly. •
Dealing with depression without guidance is a horrible thing because one small bad thought can seep and grow into a demon that you mistake for your own soul. 
When you’ve twisted yourself into a knot, every wrong pull binds you tighter until eventually you lose your sense of reality. But in the small moments where I’ve mustered strength to be honest I found love, clarity; understanding and acceptance. And sometimes that is all it takes to pull you back off the ledge.

To those who have opened up to me in these last few weeks or through the years: thank you for your strength; you have honestly given me L~I~F~E!! You have given me back my voice and my purpose and lately I feel more full than I’ve ever been. You remind me that I'm not alone and help me cut through the noise thank u #cutthroughthenoise
