Stutzle is a dynamic, dynamic player who has a chance to become the highest drafted German ever if Los Angeles takes him second overall. He absolutely tore up the World Juniors, where he really became a threat for the second-overall pick.
Stutzle can absolutely fly down the ice. He’s so explosive, elusive, and has unreal dangles at full speed off the rush. His hands are always moving at 100 mph, and he’s got a very good wrister to match. Stutzle can run a powerplay himself. The way he moves around and sets up plays is dazzling. He’s got a terrific vision for the ice, and just a dynamic skillset.
Away from the puck, Stutzle has some things to work on, but in general he competes hard, and creates turnovers on the backcheck with his compete and smart stick.
