Scouting Report: 
Jacob Perreault lit up the OHL this season, and is an immensely talented player. His biggest asset is his goal-scoring ability. He has the strength, and hands to get to the middle of the ice, and get clean shots off. He’s got a very strong one-timer, and a quick shot from the high-slot. Many people question his skating, although I don’t think it’s as big of a problem as some people make it out to be. He does have a physical element, having the ability to throw some good hits.
My bigger concern is that Perreault doesn’t drive play as much as you’d like him to, and plays the game with a passive approach too often. Lots of times players with this style struggle to produce offense at the NHL level when everyone else is as strong as they are.
