A tale of a tail. 

This is the tail from @p40americandream that was shot down over New Guinea. It was found by an Australian restoration company. History is wild. 

There’s just too much character to these details in the hangar at @flywarbird. The safety wiring on the MIG engine and the Texan completion plate (manufactured in 1945).
