Since 1777 the American flag has endured through hardship, depression, and war. It's encountered the beaches of Normany, the heights of Everest, and the reaches of space. It's engraved on the shoulders of those who cherish it and won't let it fall. It's seen the heat of fire and the staining of blood. It's been with us through centuries and it will continue on. As long as American's bleed red, the flag will be a symbol of hardiness, vigilance, purity, perseverance, and justice for all. ⠀
