Famed sculptor and local resident RichardMacdonaldSculpture created this 15-foot bronze statue ⁠— titled "Momentum" ⁠— in 2000 to commemorate the 100th U.S. Open at Pebble Beach. To ensure the sculpture accurately portrayed the body's form during a golf swing, MacDonald viewed hours of tape and even invited PGA TOUR player Frank Lickliter into his studio to study his mechanics. #PebbleBeachCentennial #ArtMonth
