The Bench only opened in 2012, but this popular restaurant commemorates a momentous occasion in the history of Pebble Beach Resorts. As we celebrate our Centennial and reflect on a century of culinary traditions, we remember the significance of this picturesque place. On a bench near this location in 1999, a deal was sealed to sell Pebble Beach to the current ownership group - The Lone Cypress Partners. Today, The Lone Cypress Partners are the longest tenured ownership group since Founder Samuel F.B. Morse ran Pebble Beach for some 50 years.
