This week in science class, seventh graders conducted experiments with yeast to observe its properties as a living organism. They filled some test tubes with yeast and water and some with yeast and sugar, and watched as the carbon dioxide gas produced by the yeast and sugar reaction filled a balloon. #sasscholars #sasaustin
