In the words of Upper School Chaplain, Mother Whitney, “Lent is the season that reminds us of how we are only here for a short time, that we are dust and to dust we shall return. 
On Ash Wednesday, members of our US community marked the altar frontal with ashes and it was our focus point for the season.
Yesterday, our Maundy Thursday/ Good Friday service began with the call to live and serve in love, and ended with the stripping of the altar to symbolize that there is nowhere we can go where we aren’t beloved.” #sasaustin #sasservants #maundythursday #goodfriday
