The sheer size of the #Amazon is mesmerizing.. In one weekend I visited #Belem #Santarem #AlterdoChao #MonteDourado #Jari and others. I spoke to government and local people. I saw thousands of km of river and jungle, and this is just one tiny little bit. If you have the chance #VisitAmazon It is unique and we have to preserve its beauty while helping local people prosper.
