Campbell University announces that President J. Bradley Creed will retire in 2025. His legacy includes more than three decades in higher education, with 10 years at the helm of Campbell University. 
 
With President Creed’s support, Campbell University experienced significant growth as an institution. The university successfully navigated the disruptions of COVID-19, managing the challenges of remote learning and the transition back to on-campus instruction. 

The school completed its most successful capital campaign in its history, raising $105 million, which supported the development of the Oscar N. Harris Student Union, now recognized as the heart of student life at Campbell. The university experienced a rise in undergraduate admissions, while also nurturing its successful graduate and professional programs. 
 
“Serving as president of this institution is an honor and the capstone for my career in higher education. I am thankful for the wonderful people who assisted and supported me, and especially for the opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students,” said President Creed. 

“After more than 30 years of leadership in higher education, I’m ready to embrace more time with my supportive wife, children, and grandchildren.”
