A HUGE thank you to both standrewstoronto  and thechefshouse for hosting me for a beautiful dinner and a spiritofyork Gin tasting. 

It is always a joy to share my love of Spirits with others, but to also get to share with folks that either immigrated to Canada from Scotland or have Scottish heritage is truly special. As the son of Scottish immigrants myself, it really hits home how groups like the St.Andrews Society help to remind us of where we have come from and where we are going.

It was also humbling to work with the students at George Brown's Chefs House. To see the future of hospitality is fascinating and I have no doubt that I will be bothering many of these students once they enter into the hospitality industry proper.
