## Caption

Huntingtower Castle was a lordly residence from the 15th to 17th centuries. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 🏰💙

Mary Queen of Scots stayed here in 1565, on honeymoon with her husband Lord Darnley. Mary’s son, James VI was later held here against his will in 1852 in an event known as the ‘Ruthven Raid’.
