“It's a Long Way to the Top (If You Wanna Rock 'n' Roll)” was released by Australian rockers AC/DC on Dec. 8, 1975. The song’s bagpipes were inspired by the Scottish heritage of lead singer Bon Scott. A statue in his honour now stands in the town of his birth - Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland.
