Scenes from Atlanta. It was rough out there. The competition, the course, the wind- it all added up to a hard day on the roads. Perhaps not the day some were dreaming of, but a day to be proud of nonetheless. Carrie and Kaitlyn ran strong together finishing in 20th and 22nd. Tara and Julian far out paced their seed times finishing in 46th and 55th- not far from their qualifying times at blazing fast CIM. Reaves rolled his ankle at two miles but proceeded to gut out another 24.2 for the home crowd. For CD, Bumbi, and Jared- they went for it, but it wasn’t their day. Nothing risked, nothing gained.
