Day 4 Preview:

It’s the final day of the USATF Outdoor Championships and a huge one for BTC! Ten athletes in four finals over two hours. The first hour (7pm-8pm ET) is on NBCSN and then the action switches over to NBC from 8pm to 9pm ET.
⠀
Women’s Steeplechase, Final (7:09pm ET): In the strongest distance event on the world scene for the US, Courtney and Colleen will once again take on the great Emma Coburn and try to break her long streak of US titles.

Men’s 5,000m, Final (7:23pm ET): Woody will gun for a top 3 finish, although he will need to run the IAAF standard of 13:23 in the race to make the team. No telling what Lopez will do doubling back from the 10,000m, but we’re excited to watch!

Women’s 5,000m, Final (7:42pm ET): This one is going to be doozy with four #BowermanBabes entered. Shelby will be trying to make it a hat trick of 5,000m titles, Karissa and Vanessa are gunning for their first teams, and Marielle is doubling back from the 10,000m. A word to the wise, the 1,500m and 5,000m are a half an hour apart at the World Championships this year so there will be no doubling in those two events. So while, Shelby and Jenny Simpson are both running this event after making the 1,500m team yesterday, they will most likely not be factoring into the three spots for the World Championships team.

Men’s 1,500m, Final (8:33pm ET): We wrap up the Championships with Centro and Josh. Centro the accomplished and wily veteran, Josh the young buck looking for his big break. Lots of fast finishers in this race, so it should be a thrilling conclusion!
