A brutal, legendary day in Boston. A day that ate up a lot of great athletes and spit them out again. Bumbi and Shalane each took their hits, but they refused to give in. 5th place for Bumbi in his best ever marathon finish and 7th place for Shalane. Not a day for the record books, but a day to remember.
Congratulations to Desi Linden for ending the 33 year drought for the US women in Boston. As ever, she was tough as nails.
