As the No.1 rookie and pick of the WNBA draft, Caitlin Clark will be going to the Indiana Fever with a first-year starting salary of $76,535 and a four-year contract of about $350k. Compared to the last pick of the NBA 2023 draft, Kentucky’s Chris Livingston who was picked up by the Milwaukee Bucks, first year salary was $1,119,563 and his four-year contract adds up to $7,639,302.

The difference is plain and clear and we’re obviously not the only ones who see a problem with it.
